The short version

Hydrabit does not have an account, does not have a server, and does not collect anything. Everything you enter, including your goal, history, and logged glasses, stays on your iPhone. The only place any of it also goes is Apple Health, and only if you allow it.

What Hydrabit stores, and where

Your daily goal, logged drinks, and streak history are stored locally on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage. None of it is transmitted anywhere because Hydrabit has no backend.

If you grant permission, each glass is written to Apple Health as dietary water, and water that another app has written to Apple Health is read back so your daily total stays accurate. You can revoke this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Hydrabit.

What Hydrabit does not do

No account or sign-in. No advertising or ad identifiers. No crash reporting that leaves your device. Hydrabit makes no network requests for app data.

Subscriptions and payment

Hydrabit Plus is sold and billed entirely through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. Hydrabit never receives your card number, billing address, or Apple ID.

Children's privacy

Hydrabit is not directed at children under 13. Since the app collects nothing from anyone, no data is gathered from any user, regardless of age.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device. You can also tap Delete all data inside Hydrabit to wipe it without removing the app. Anything already written to Apple Health stays in Health — remove it there if you want it gone.
